GGB Engineering was founded by Gary G. Bloom, P.E. in 1998. Gary is the former President and founding partner of Consul-Tech Engineering, Inc, a large and diversified civil engineering, planning, and surveying firm, which he established in 1982. . His goal upon starting GGB Engineering was to utilize his extensive civil engineering experience, skill and knowledge , and focus these strengths to provide uniquely personalized client service, responsiveness and commitment to all clients, regardless of size. The firm’s ability to develop cost effective, creative, and effective Civil Engineering solutions is a powerful combination that makes for satisfied clients.

GGB Engineering located in Ft. Lauderdale, is a diversified Civil Engineering firm specializing in all facets of civil engineering design from land development, infrastructure improvements, drainage facilities, water and sewer facilities, transportation projects and the associated permitting and construction administration of those improvements. GGB was established for the sole purpose of providing personalized, responsive, effective and timely services to the municipal, state and private sectors. GGB is unique in the fact that all projects are administered and/or designed by Mr. Bloom who is exceedingly experienced in all aspects of civil engineering, and knowledgeable in all aspects of design and permitting in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

Gary Bloom

Gary has been working as a Civil Engineer in South Florida since 1973 and is a highly regarded and seasoned professional with extensive experience in every aspect of Civil Engineering. In each engagement, Gary’s expertise is further enhanced by his abilities to accurately assess and effectively address the multiple needs and requirements of the project and client, and coordinate the solutions with all parties involved, to achieve optimum and cost effective results.

Gary has selected a team of experienced and qualified design engineers, field inspectors, and CAD designers that work closely together to provide quality and timely professional services.

GGB Engineering focuses its strengths on client service, responsiveness and the ability to utilize an experienced professional on all engagements. Even more than a firm that is significantly larger in size, GGB has the advantage that extensive skill, experience and knowledge can bring to any multi-faceted engagement, while at the same time, providing the personalized attention and responsiveness that only a smaller firm can bring to a project and client.

GGB, Engineering also works closely with numerous architects in the tri-county area to provide civil engineering solutions to numerous commercial, residential and industrial projects. In the field of Forensic Engineering, GGB conducts extensive field investigations and inspections, testing, and evaluations, and provides cost estimates to a variety of clients, including homeowners associations, attorneys and business owners. Detailed studies and reports, coordination with legal entities, and expert witness testimony are all aspects of these endeavors.

GGB Engineering

In addition to its experience in the private sector, GGB Engineering served as the Consulting Civil Engineers for the City of Cooper City for seven (7) years. In that capacity, GGB completed numerous Public Works and Roadway improvement projects within the City. GGB Engineering has also been involved as a Civil Engineering consultant in multiple capacities with various other municipalities and governmental agencies in the tri-county area. Gary Bloom has also served as the City Engineer for the City of North Lauderdale, Project Engineer for the FDOT, and District Engineer for the Central Broward Water Control District. GGB Engineering is the District Engineer for three (3) Community Development Districts as well as the miscellaneous civil engineering consultants for the City of Lauderdale Lakes and most recently completed an infrastructure projects for the City of Delray Beach. Gary G. Bloom P.E, was a member of the City of Hollywood Development Review Board for four (4) years as well as chairman of the DRB. In that capacity, all variances, site plans, and project design plans submitted to the City are presented to the DRB for review and approval.
